1900s
- 1949, the 24th year of the Showa Era (1926-1989)
- Established as Taiyo Shoji Company, Ltd.
- 1954, Showa 29
- Specializing in the plastics industry, which was rapidly developing in Europe and the U.S., the company changed its name to Tenma Synthetic Resin Ltd.
- 1961, Showa 36
- In response to the rapid development of the plastics industry in Japan, we established a new factory in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, to expand our business.
- 1964, Showa 39
- We developed the “Poly Trash Series” of plastic trash cans, which became popular throughout Japan following the Tokyo Olympics.

- The Noda Factory is constructed to meet increasing demand for large industrial materials such as color TVs, automotive parts, and beer containers.

- Shiga Factory is constructed to expand sales channels to the Kansai region.

- Tenma Precision (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. is established in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China, to supply parts to Japanese manufacturers in China.

- Moved to the current head office building following its completion.

- Shanghai Tenma Platech & Housewaers Co., Ltd. is established in Shanghai to manufacture and sell houseware for the Chinese domestic market.

- Sales begin of "Kata Panel", a plastic formwork for concrete placement.

- Production begins on “Pop Mambo,” a DVD disc case with a simplified ejection mechanism.

- We established Shenzhen Meiyang Injection Plastic Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen as our third manufacturing base in China.

- We established Tenma Precision (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd.
We established Tenma Precision (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.

- Shanghai Tenma Second Plant starts operations.

- TENMA VIETNAM CO.,LTD. is established in Cuevo, Vietnam, a suburb of Hanoi.

- We constructed the Hirosaki Factory to improve logistics efficiency.
Added Tacmic SP Co., Ltd. (now Tenma ASEAN Holdings Co.) as a subsidiary in addition to subsidiaries in Indonesia (now PT. TENMA INDONESIA), Vietnam (now TENMA (HCM) VIETNAM CO., LTD), Thailand (now TENMA (THAILAND) CO., LTD.), and other countries.
We expanded our manufacturing base to three Southeast Asian countries with the addition of Indonesia and Thailand.
